*With the timing of the camp in relation to the World Team Trials and in light of our clinicians, we knew there was a possibility of a change....thus why we said subject to change. Andrew Howe had a change of circumstance and regretably can't come now, but we have replaced his space with a top notch technician!!

Fran McCann was the wrestling coach for Indiana State and Notre Dame colleges here in Indiana, and was the college coach for Bruce Baumgartner, the only US wrestler to earn four Olympic medals. He is a fantastic technician and we are honored to include him in our lineup.....and you will be blessed to learn from him, promise! Best wishes to Andrew Howe on his journey and welcome Fran McCann!!

WHAT A GREAT TIME WE HAD!!

Thank you to Bobby Douglas, Fran McCann, and Bryce Hasseman for participating in our camp.  Our campers learned a lot from each of you and we appreciate that at such a busy time you all were able to make efforts to be with us.  Bryce, fresh off a honeymoon and Fran on his birthday, amazing people you all are! 

Thanks Angel Escobedo, who despite being unable to attend due to injury, made sure he made all our campers know he was with us in spirit by asking his family to come by and hand out his "Driven to Dominate" Tshirts.  The kids loved them and wore them to the tournament! 

Mayor Ballard was fantastic at the tournament.  He enjoyed watching the matches, he was impressed by the amount of food collected for Gleaners Food Bank and that we did such a great event.  He watched many matches and talked to everyone who wanted some of his time.  He spent a whopping 45 minutes at our tournament, which is a huge chunk of time on a Sunday morning for a man as busy as he is.  We are forever appreciative of the great support we have in the City of Indianapolis and Mayor Ballard's Office.

USA Wrestling is such a key to our current success and to our continued success.  You hear of organizations who forget about their retired veterans of their respective sports once they are no longer in a competition role, but not so with USA Wrestling.  They have acknowledged and respected Coach Tanniehill for his many contributions to the sport of wrestling and have been very accomodating.  We are so thankful and appreciative to be part of such a fantastic organization.

Thanks to Indiana State Wrestling Association Chairman Louis Rosbottom for his comments and support at our tournament.  ISWA has been supportive of our efforts and we appreciate it so much, thank you.  And thanks for the donated singlets and head gear...we will definitely use them.

Tom Clark, you are a fascinating person with a big heart and we appreciate all you did to help out with the tournament, organizing officials and helping with anything we needed help with.  Your comments during the Mayor's address were well received and we appreciate your support.

Ben Davis Coaches: Aaron Moss, Jake O'Neil, Coach Gill and Coach Whitten....you were each and every one so helpful.  You ran a phenomenal tournament for us - not a single hiccup. I am so impressed by your entire coaching staff and Coach and I both look forward to a long and happy relationship with you guys - you've been great!

The Indianapolis Star has been terrific in helping to get the word out about our efforts and they did not let us down for this event either.  They interviewed Bobby Douglas and Coach Tanniehill at the camp Friday evening...look for the story in Indy West section this Thursday.  I will post it as well once it comes out. 

To all our sponsors, too many to name...we can't survive without support.  We only work with your help.  These kids only get to participate if we are funded. Though we are currently without program funding support, we had several businesses and individuals step up to sponsor kids for camp.  Other local wrestling clubs stood up with us to make sure these kids got to go.  You can see our page of sponsor logos here
